Dry Sorbent Injection

Dry Sorbent Injection (DSI) System is a proven technology widely used for removing acid gases such as SO2, SO3, Hg, HCl and HF from flue gases of various applications such as thermal power plants, steel making plants and other industrial applications. With low capital investment, DSI system effectively removes acid gases such as SO2, SO3, Hg, HCI and HF by injecting highly reactive reagent into the flue gas duct. DSI system can operate in a wide range of temperature and achieve high removal efficiency.

Process

Advantages

Lowest Capital Investment is required for mitigation of acid gases and heavy metals such as SO2, SO3, Hg, HCI and HF Minimum footprint is required for DSI system compared with other wet and semi-dry flue gas desulfurization (FGD) system Flexibility in sorbent selection (Lime/Sodium Bicarbonate/Trona)
